about Dennis Anguige

Dennis Anguige FRPS is a UK based photographer of over 45 years experience that began in his early twenties when he was given his first camera (a Praktica TL). His initial foray into photography was with transparencies and laboratory processed film which soon led to him processing his own film and printing in a makeshift darkroom.

The darkroom was to last until 2005 when he was dragged kicking and screaming into the world of digital photography.

Today he works predominately with mirrorless cameras (mostly Leica) and has recently returned, in part, to film photography (using Leica reflex cameras) with the creation of a new darkroom.

Dennis is a Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society and a member of the Travel, Landscape and VisualArt groups which he continues to support.

The privilege and good fortune to travel, with a penchant for South and South East Asia and more recently South America, has resulted in many iconic images.

I’m equally passionate about travel, photography and art and to be able to combine these has been a privilege and a pleasure.

The outcome of these passions has led to the creation of this website, where I’m pleased to share some of my images with you.
